Diane M. (Razawich) Hines, 75, of Wyoming, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Medicine.
Diane was born in Kingston to the late Thomas and Agnes Tirpak Razawich.
She graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School, Class of 1967, and went on to start her career at the RJ Diner, now the Avenue Diner, in Wyoming for 54 years, until her retirement in 2020.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Hines; sister, Ann Hannon; beloved in-laws, Angelo and Emma Ragugini, Raymond and Doris Hines, brother-in-law, David Lewis; nephews, David Lewis, Curtis Razawich, Evan Razawich; and great-niece Claudia Hannon.
Diane is survived by her children, Kimberly Donahue (John), of Blakeslee; and Ronald Hines, of Wyoming; siblings, Joseph Razawich (Dolores), of Florida; Thomas Razawich (Vicki), of Kingston Township; Mark Razawich (Linda), of Tunkhannock; Denise Schevets (Frank), of Wyoming; granddaughter, Keira Donahue; sisters-in-law, Sandra Lewis and Karen Cefalo, of Swoyersville; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc.
Interment will follow Mass in Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diane's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or Corpus Christi Social Concerns, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
