Diane T. Kelemen, 65, formerly of Shillington, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in Rose City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster, following a lengthy illness. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Beitler and Laura Ryan (Wade).
Diane was a beloved mother and grandmother, fiercely protective of her family, yet incredibly creative in all she accomplished. She was known for her strong will, warm heart and incredible eye for capturing life's most meaningful moments. Whether she was offering wise advice, cheering on her family, or working on a new project, she gave her full heart to everything she did. She leaves behind a legacy stitched together with love, strength, and endless imagination.
Diane devoted much of her life to caring for others as a passionate childcare teacher, enhancing every young life she touched. She enjoyed all crafts, especially crocheting, and trips to the Philadelphia Zoo, where she particularly loved the tigers. She also looked forward every year to volunteering at the Kimberton Fair.
Diane had a lifelong love of photography, always behind the camera documenting birthdays, quiet smiles, and joyful chaos. Her photos weren't just snapshots, they were love letters to her family, preserving memories that will now carry her spirit forward. Her beauty and creativity were matched only by her thoughtfulness. Every stitch and every shot of her camera told a story of devotion.
Still, Diane's greatest joy was always her family. She was a loving, steadfast mother and an adoring grandmother, never missing a chance to celebrate a milestone, lend a helping hand, or simply listen. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and purpose, and she made sure they always knew how deeply they were loved.
Diane is survived by her children: Danielle P. Martin, Uvalde, TX, Brandy D. Kelemen, fiancé of Collin Showalter, Reading, and Richard A. Kelemen, fiancé of Storm McLeod, along with her grandchildren, Riley and Reece.
Also surviving are her three brothers: Harvey J. "Skip" Beitler, III (Candice), Coatesville, Thomas A. Beitler (Margaret), Brownsville, and Ronald J. Beitler (Millie), Bethlehem.
A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:00AM in Klee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue,
Shillington, PA, with visitation from 10:00-11:00AM. Burial in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, will be at the convenience of her family. www.kleefuneralhome.com
