Diane Miley Loupe, age 41, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home in Franklinton, LA. She was a life-long resident of Washington Parish and a graduate of Bogalusa High School. Diane served her community as a long-time employee of the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office and a current employee of the Public Defender's Office for the 22nd Judicial. Her love for the river, beaches, and truck shows was abundant, especially because she was able to enjoy these times with her family. Diane truly lived life to the fullest and never wavered from being the best wife, mother, and maw-maw she could be.
She is survived by her husband: Harvey Loupe III; three sons: Harvey Loupe IV, Clyde will Moody IV, and Evan Loupe; two daughters: Shelby Harrison and Cameron Graves; her mother: Susan Magee; a step-father: Herbert Penton; one brother: John "BJ" Rester; two sisters: Felicia Dixon (Pat) and Courtney Miley; two grandbabies: Logan Harrison and Kynsleigh Loupe; and a many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her father: Gary David Miley; a grandfather: Jack Beeson; one grandmother: Margie Beeson; and an uncle: Alton "Jr" Miley.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home proudly serves the Loupe family. Friday, August 9, 2024, visitation will start in the funeral home chapel at 10AM until time of service at 2PM. Interment will immediately follow at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Clay Shook will officiate services.
