Mrs. Diane High Matthis passed away on 12/25/2024 at the age of 74. She was born on 09/25/1950 in Durham, NC to Annie and Leo High
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at American Cremation & Funeral Service, 1204 Person Street, Durham, NC 27703.
Diane grew up in Durham and attended Durham High She worked at Watts Hospital and People's Security Insurance company. She was dedicated to her family and community.
Diane was a kind, compassionate, and generous person who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her legacy will live on through her family and the countless people she helped and inspired throughout her life.
She is survived by: her Husband Steve, Children Jeffry and Stevie, grandchildren Chelsie, Breliegh and Maddox and Niece Stacey.
She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who knew her.
