McKenna, Diane (Martone), of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 73 years of age.

Beloved wife of William "Billy" McKenna.

Cherished daughter of the late Joseph A. and Pauline (Schwede) Martone.

Dear sister of Joan DiLuigi and husband Eddie, Robert Martone, Michelle Martone Lally, Debra Martone, Paula Martone, the late Dorothy Vitiello and her surviving husband Frank, and the late Joseph F. Martone and his surviving spouse Karen.

Cherished sister-in-law of Robert McKenna and his spouse Teresa, Jerry McKenna and his partner Louis, and the late Geraldine Cull and her surviving husband John.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will honor Diane's life by gathering for a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Parish, East Boston, on Thursday, August 21st at 10:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Diane being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In accordance with the family's wishes, please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diane's name to Tufts Medical Center, The Cancer Center, Development Office, 800 Washington Street, Box 231, Boston, MA 02111. Please list Diane's name in the memo.

The McKenna family would like to thank the entire staff of the Oncology Department at the Tufts New England Medical Center and VNA Hospice for the care and attention they gave Diane during her illness and into her final days.

May she rest in peace.
