Diane L. Meinardus, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 26th after a 17 month courageous battle with glioblastoma. Diane was born on January 14, 1943 to Louis and Anita Basil, and with her older brother Anthony lived in Brooklyn, NY.
In 1961 she married her beloved husband Carl W. Meinardus and started her own family. She is the cherished mother to Linda (Scott) Renert, Michael (Lisa) Meinardus. Adored Grandmother to Michael (Samantha), Brianna (Robert), Kristina, Alycia, Jordan, Jake, and James and Great Grandmother to Gabriella and Michael.

Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation is dedicated to funding breakthrough research for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and strives to improve survivorship for those diagnosed with this aggressive brain cancer.
