Diane Moreno Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 2, 2025.
Diane Elaine Moreno, lovingly known to many as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on January 30th 2025, in Merced California at the young age of 63. She was born on June 1st 1962, in San Jose California. Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Annino, step father Frank Annino, sister Patricia Norris, and brother Joe Norris. She is survived by her husband, Carl Dallas, her son Brian Moreno, her daughter Randale Ovatt, siblings Katherine Norris, Dennis Norris, Danny Norris, and Jackie Annino, as well as her grandchildren Taylor Moreno, Kaleb Moreno, Jase Ovatt, Kaden Ovatt, and numerous nieces and nephews. A high school graduate from Overfelt High school, Diane dedicated over 20+years of her career as a head housekeeper in the Groveland area. She enjoyed her job and made sure all guests had the best hospitality. But beyond her professional life, Diane's true joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She had a deep love for music and enjoyed a good drink in the company of those she cherished.

Her bubbly and outgoing personality made her the life of any party, and her presence would light up any room she entered. Diane's laughter was infectious, and her caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on March 29, 2025, at The Lake Lodge in Groveland, California, starting at 12pm. The event will honor the beautiful life she lives and the memories she created with those around her.

In this time of loss, let us remember Diane for the joy she brought into our lives and the love she shared with all who knew her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with her warmth and grace. Rest in peace, Diane Elaine Moreno. Your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.

You will be missed till the end of our lives on this earth. You were a loving mother, friend and the best grandmother. Your heart was for any and everybody. I cherish the time we spent hanging out. I drive by your house and my eyes tear up knowing you are not there. You were a special kind of lady, no one will deny that. Love you and will meet with you, with open arms, when our Lord permits. Can´t find the right words. She was my dear friend even though we haven´t seen each other very often over the years. Her smile would light up the day or night. She was a force to be reckoned with, for sure. Spent many weekends hanging out together...kids in tow! Santa Cruz here we come. I´m going to miss you but I know we will meet again.,, Rocky Mtn Way!

Such heartfelt condolences to the family. Diane is and was one of my dearest and best friends. Like a sister. The best sister in-law and no measure of time changed our bond. I miss her everyday. I miss being able to call her or see her. She was always there for anything her family needed. I am blessed she is my children´s auntie. She loved her children and grandchildren so much! I am truly going to miss how she would pop in at any random time to just have fun, listen to our favorite songs and dance! I know she is resting in peace with her family in heaven. That brings peace for us all here on earth. I will always be here for her children and the rest of the family, just call and I will be there. To the family-Thank you for always making me feel like part of the family and I love you all dearly. To my children- I love you and will always be here for you. I know losing Dad and now Auntie is a lot
