Life Tribute: Diane Elizabeth Wolfe Rohlfs
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Diane Elizabeth Wolfe Rohlfs on February 17, 2026, in
Panama City Beach, Florida, at the age of 75.
Born on August 28, 1950, in
Chamblee, Georgia, Diane was the beloved daughter of Lee Spencer Wolfe II and Elizabeth "Betty" Howard Rivers. She carried with her a proud heritage, descended from Scottish and French noble lineage-a legacy of strength, elegance, and a lifelong dedication to helping others that she embodied throughout her life
A Legacy of Hard Work and Family
Diane's journey of family and business began in her early twenties. She attended Shorter University in Georgia and married Hugh Michael Bradley in 1970, welcoming her first son, Timothy, the following year. In 1973, she married Robert Reese Rathjen in El Paso, Texas, and together they built a life on their farm in Omaha, Nebraska. Diane embraced her role as a stepmother to Scott and soon welcomed her son, Steven.
By age 26, Diane had already launched her first business. Alongside Robert, she owned and operated Triple R Kennels, where her passion for animals earned her a prestigious American Kennel Club President's Award. Her commitment to her community even led her to run for the local school board in David City.
A Career of Healing and Leadership
Over a 30-year career, Diane managed several successful businesses. She retired from Miller Electric as an office manager, but her true calling was in wellness. In 2008, she became a Board Certified Hypnotherapist, eventually owning and operating A+ Hypnosis Wellness Center in Omaha from 2011 to 2019.
Diane's work was more than a career; it was a mission. Through A+ Hypnosis and her work with addiction support, she guided countless individuals toward healthier, happier lives. Even in her later years, she remained active in her community, most recently serving as the Treasurer for the Moonlight Drifter Condos.
Love and Legacy
In 2005, Diane married Leland Albert Rohlfs, who remained her devoted partner until his passing in 2019. In her final years, Diane lived her dream-residing by the beach and cheering on her beloved Husker football team.
Diane is survived by her children, Timothy Alexander Bradley (Donna) and Steven Anthony Rathjen (Amberlee); stepson Scott Randall Rathjen (Lesa); and stepdaughter Diane Rapp. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her sister Julie Gornall (Steve), her brother Lee Wolfe Jr. (Phyllis), and many aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Robert Rathjen, her husband Leland Rohlfs, and close friends who were like family, Lou and Lois "Swaney" Schwaninger.
Our family respects the wishes of Diane and will not be holding services. We appreciate your love and support during this quiet time. Friends are encouraged to share memories on this thread.
