Diane Evelace Scheer went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 19, 2023 at the age of 87. Her last years were spent at Riverfront on Main Memory Care facility in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.

Jim and Diane retired in 1990 and moved to Lake Lida. Diane loved fishing, gardening, baking, and quilting. She delighted in sharing the fruits of her labors with others. She was very involved in the Vergas United Methodist Church. Diane enjoyed many wonderful camping trips with her family to the north shore of Lake Superior and to Lac la Croix (Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness).
Diane is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Kay (Mark) Wallis, daughter-in-law Pam Scheer, grandchildren Kara (Joe) Barr, Lindsay Wallis, Mari (Harrison) Olk, sister Ginny (Clark) Fluto, Patrick (Maria) Connolly and sister-in-law Lucy Buus.
