So sorry to hear of Diane's health struggle and passing. I hope that it wasn't too painful. I remember that she loved her kindergarten classes, I don't know what grades she taught these past years, but I imagine that the students LOVED her! I remember her birthday every May, I even tried to mail a few cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have her address and really didn't know how to contact her. She will always remain in my heart. I hope you find comfort with the memories of this amazing woman.
