Nancy Mae Sheets

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Mae Sheets, who left the world unexpectedly on January 20, 2026, at the age of 71. Nancy was born on February 28, 1954, in Havre De Grace, MD. She grew up surrounded by love, family, and strong values. She was known for her kindness, strength, and warm spirit.

Throughout her life, Nancy devoted herself to her family and friends, always making sure everyone felt welcomed and loved. She worked for many years as a secretary for APG, where she was admired for her dedication and compassion. Her life was filled with love, hard work, and unwavering faith.

Above all else, she cherished her family and friends. She had a loving and caring heart and always wanted to make sure everyone around her was okay. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, playing bingo, reading, attending church, and loving on her family dog (Belle). One of her favorite animals was the hummingbird, a perfect symbol of her gentle spirit, beauty, and love for life.

She was preceded in death by her mother (Annie Campbell), father (Robert Lee Campbell), husband (Delmer Sheets), daughter (Sarah Jane Sheets), brothers (John Campbell and Paul Campbell), and sister (Janie Liverman). She is survived by her two grandchildren (Olivia Ann Sheets) and (Abigail Mae Sheets), and her sisters (Ann Vloedman, Jessie Carter, Virginia Hostler, and Frances Valentine).

Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life beautifully lived - one filled with love, faith, compassion, and selflessness. Her memory will continue to guide us, comfort us, and remind us of the power of kindness and unconditional love. She will forever be missed and always remembered.

A celebration of life will be held on February 28, 2026, 11:00 am at Riverside Church. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her beautiful life, share memories, and find comfort in one another.
