Diane R. Swanson, 80, of Sherrard, IL, passed away, February 25, 2026, at her residence.
Private family services will be held at Western Township Cemetery. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Orion are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family.
Diane was born on October 14, 1945, in California, the daughter of Francis George and Arlene (Kloster) Watne. She married Charles David Swanson in East Moline, IL on October 10, 1981; he preceded her in death on April 12, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Amos of Sherrard; grandchildren, Britney Amos and Destiny Wright of Sherrard, IL, and Melissa Vipond of Viola, IL; great-grandchild, Karter Amos and 8 additional great-grandchildren; very good lifelong friend, Joyce Hergert of Rock Island, IL; beloved dog, Dixie Rose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters.
