Diane Wauchek, age 65, widow of Dennis Wauchek, passed away peacefully in her home in Whiting, NJ on August 2, 2025. Diane was born in Passaic, NJ on May, 24, 1960 and lived the majority of her life in Pompton Lakes, NJ with her parents, Frank and Sara Koniecki. She was five years older than her brother Raymond Koniecki, currently resides in Butler, NJ (father of David and Jacob Koniecki) and often found herself mothering him. In 1982, Diane gave birth to her son, Michael Armona (father John Armona). In 1992, Diane married Dennis Wauchek and moved to West Milford where she began working for the Board of Education as a bus driver. She would later retire as a bus driver from the Toms River Board of Education. In 2017, she welcomed her first grandson, Michael Armona and then soon after Addison and Lucas Armona. She spent the majority of her time making memories both with her grandchildren and friends. She maintained many of her friends from drumcorp. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, and catching up with friends and family. Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Ocean County Cremation located on 1252 NJ-37, Toms River, NJ 08755.
