Diane Webber Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Minnesota (First Memorial Funeral Chapel)- Minneapolis on Mar. 18, 2026.
Diane L. Webber, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by family.

Diane was born on September 30, 1942, to John and Francis Savage. A determined and accomplished woman, she put herself through school as a single parent and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science. She went on to build a highly successful career at Digital Equipment Corporation, later known as Compaq and Hewlett Packard, retiring in 1995. During her career, Diane was especially proud of being the top salesperson in her division and was a true pioneer for women in the technology field.

Beyond her professional achievements, Diane loved to travel and found her greatest sense of peace and happiness at her place in Northern Minnesota, where she spent countless summer evenings and days exploring the North Shore. Above all else, Diane's greatest joy was her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who were the center of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, independence, and love that will always be remembered.

Diane is survived by her brother, Patrick Savage (Helen); her children, Rick (Cathy) Germain, Theresa (Kerry) Campion, and Jay Webber; her grandchildren, Liza Germain, Blake Germain, Casey Campion (Natalie), Erik Campion, William Webber (Anna), Cody Webber, and Hailey Webber; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Jenkins, Aria McGregor, MyKenzie Holden, and Isla and Anya Campion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sharing and Caring Hands, 525 N 7th St, Minneapolis, MN 55405.

Celebration of life will be held at: Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave So, Minneapolis, MN 55409 Visitation: April 8, 2026 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
