Diane Marie White, a 40-year resident of Beacon, New York, passed away in her home on June 4, 2025. She was 62 years old.
Diane was born on May 20, 1963 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Eugene and Shirley Brown. She married her husband, James A. White on October 12, 1985 in Fishkill, New York. Diane worked at the Beacon City School District, being a dedicated teacher's assistant for 23 years until her retirement in June 2021. Diane enjoyed spending time with her loving family, gardening, bird watching, and collected seashells wherever she traveled. She was a parishioner of St. Joachim – St. John the Evangelist Church in Beacon, and an active member of the New York Road Runners.
Diane is survived by her husband James A. White, son James R. White (Meagan), daughter Lauren N. LaBarbara (Brian), sister Kathy Lane (Bill), brother Eugene Brown, and grandchildren James T. White and Elias H. White.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, June 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon on June 9 at 10 a.m. followed by a private family entombment.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hudson Valley Hospice.
