Diane M. "Sue" Yancey, 65 of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her home on January 7, 2024. She was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on September 12, 1958, to Schley O. "Bud" Ervin and Charlotte Ervin.
Sue is survived by sons, Billy F. Yancey III (Laura) of Austin, TX, Chris D. Yancey (Zaineth) of Fulshear, TX; grandchildren Dylan Yancey of Jonesboro, AR, Connor, Miles, and Owen Yancey of Austin TX, Tobias and Luca Yancey of Fulshear, TX; brother Tom Ervin (Teri) of Dallas, TX; and partners in crime Matt Woodridge and Teresa Chabino who helped take care of her the last couple of months of her life; and a host of nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
Sue was hard-working and loved spending time in the country with her family and friends. Some of her biggest passions were working outside in her garden and tending to her flowers as well as putting together puzzles and decorating for the holidays at her home in Pettus. She lived life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Billy Ferrall Yancey Jr. and her parents.
The family would like to thank you for honoring her memory with your presence, thoughts, and prayers.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home, in Lonoke, with burial at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae.
