Dianna Warren Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Apr. 29, 2025.
Dianna Faye Warren, 82, a beloved wife, mother, and friend to many passed away peacefully April 19th, 2025, after succumbing to the effects of dementia with her family at her side. Her husband, Leonard, daughter and granddaughter took care of her at home for the last ten years.
Faye was born in Russell, Ontario in 1942 to the late Benny and Peggy Eastman and was an only child. In her early years the family moved to West Hill, a suburb of Toronto, where she grew up. In high school, she was a great softball pitcher and had trophies of excellence.
At the age of 20, Faye had a life-changing experience when she went to Miami for a two-week vacation with her girlfriend and met the love of her life and future husband, Leonard. After returning to West Hill, she decided to move to Miami to work and live full-time. One year later, in 1965, Faye and Leonard were married. Nine months and thirty minutes later their first child was born. She had three wonderful children over the course of her life.
Faye thoroughly enjoyed being the wife of a Coast Guardsman. She travelled with her husband and three children all throughout the United States. Their duty stations were Miami, Florida; St Petersburg, Florida; Panama City, Florida; Petaluma, California, and Adak, Alaska.
Faye, being the devoted mother she was, stayed at home to raise her children and took care of her family for 14 years. Her marriage to Leonard was built on a foundation of God and stood the test of time, as they remained in each other's loving care for 60 years. They set a true example to their family and friends of what a devoted, loving couple should be.
Faye was known for her love for others, in particular children and animals who could always steal her heart. All the stray animals ended up at her home.
Faye worked in Miami when her children were older as an insurance claims adjuster. She loved bowling and was a member of the travelling Don Carter Bowling league in Miami.
Eventually Faye and Leonard retired in Panama City, Florida. She was a server at Allen's Seafood Restaurant. She was also a server at Captain Jack's Family Restaurant Buffet for 20 years. Faye loved travelling with her husband to St Petersburg Florida, New Orleans and Akron Ohio, to see her parents. A favorite destination for Faye was going to Biloxi with her girlfriends, enjoying the casinos and entertainment.
Holidays were always her favorite. She fully enjoyed baking and making an array of candies and chocolates with her grandchildren. She always shared plates of these delectables during the holidays.
Faye lived a full, fun, and always adventurous life, and was taken care of like a princess by her loved ones, especially her husband, Leonard, who will keep her in his heart.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Peggy Eastman; her daughter, Brenda Warren at age 18, in 1987; and her son Joe Warren at age 54, in 2021.
Those left to cherish Faye's memories are her devoted, loving husband Leonard Warren; daughter, Debra Warren Jacklett (Michael); and grandchildren, Jacob Warren, Cole Cook and Tori Cook.
Vitas was wonderful and assisted with her respite care.

My wife, Margarita, and I would like to express our deepest condolence to Leonard Warren and his family on the passing of his wife, Faye, this past April. We met Leonard and Faye when we were stationed together at the Coast Guard station in Adak, Ak. in the early 70's. May Faye rest in peace.
