Dianne Bishop Obituary
Mrs. Bishop was a native of Jacksonville and worked for many years at St. Lukes Hospital as a X-Ray Tech and later as a pre-school teacher at St. Elizabeth's. She was a Baptist and attended at Wingate Baptist, Eastport Baptist and First Baptist of Oceanway before becoming ill and not able to attend.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her parents: Tholon and Marion Davis and is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wayne E. Bishop; 4 sons: Aaron Bishop, Jason Bishop (Jennifer), Adam Bishop and Paul Bishop (Brittney); 2 brothers: Don Davis (Kim) and Chris Davis (Tracy); 6 grandchildren: Anyssa Blackmer (Jacob), Zoe, Kelby, Liam, Mason and Makenna Bishop; 4 great grandchildren: Emma, Maverick, Jaxson and Tarryn Blackmer and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 in the Event Center at Peeples, 14165 N. Main Street (Building C) with Pastor Josh Paynter officiating.
Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.
Peeples Family Funeral Home is serving the Bishop Family.
