It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Shelby Dianne Rowland Davis of Nathalie. Dianne passed away October 14, 2024 at the age of 66 and was born in Halifax County on March 12, 1958 to Evelyn Holt Rowland who survives and the late Marshall Henry Rowland. She was married to the late Anderson “Andy” Crenshaw Davis, Jr.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone where she attended faithfully and served in several different capacities. She was on the Kitchen Committee and even helped keep the church clean for the past several years. Dianne loved the water and especially riding on boats she was also an avid bird watcher. She loved sports watching her team, the Cincinnati Reds, but more than that, she loved watching her grandchildren play and never missed an opportunity to spoil them. Her passing will leave a void in all who loved her.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Millstone with the Rev. Latta Terry officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at her home at all times prior to funeral and after the funeral.
