Harding, Dianne
REXFORD - Dianne J. Harding, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Dianne was born on February 24, 1946, in Newark, N.J. Dianne graduated from Albany Academy, and later earned her associate's degree in fashion merchandising from Marymount University. She started her career right out of college, working for Marshall Field and Co. as a buyer. It was there that she met her beloved husband, James, and the two were married on February 10, 1968. When they started a family, she committed to staying home to raise her children. Later, she went to work at Friendly's in Clifton Park. She was also later employed for about 10 years as a special ed aide for the Shenendehowa Central School District. Dianne was actively involved with St. Edward the Confessor Church as an eucharistic minister, CCD teacher, volunteer for many summers of vacation bible camp, and beloved member of the Hosanna Prayer Group. She loved boating on the lake and greatly enjoyed flowers, gardening and bird watching. However, her absolute favorite place to be was surrounded by her family.
Dianne is survived by her children, James P. (Stephanie Monteau) Harding, Thomas M. (Kara) Harding, Liz (Rich) Carr, Courtney Harding, Christy (Anthony) Caranfa and Kimberlee (late David) Harman; her grandchildren, Thomas Harding Jr., Karly Harding, Michaela Harding, Dillon (Sierra) Carr, Sarah Carr, Trevor Carr, Elijah Buck, Isaac Buck, and Leo Caranfa, Jamie (Liz) Harman, Jaiden and Cedric Monteau; and her great-grandchildren, Kayce R. Carr, Emersyn M. Carr and James "Chipper" Harman Jr.; her nephew, Carmine (Sarah) Marotta; and niece, Katie (Geoff Shepherd) Marotta; and her brother, Joseph (Beth) Marotta.
