VISITATION UPDATE - The Visitation for Dillon Brevard has been moved from the Cowboy Church to Hawthorn Funeral Home. The visitation is Monday night, 6 - 8:00 p.m. at Hawthorn Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Dillon Brevard, 24, of
Long Branch, Texas will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Stillwaters Cowboy Church with Bro. Matt Comer, Bro. Joe Cox and Bro. James McRight officiating. Burial will follow in the Boynton Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, Monday, January 26, 2026 at Still Waters Cowboy Church.
Mr. Dillon Keith Brevard was born January 23, 2001, in
Longview, Texas. He passed this life January 20, 2026, in
Long Branch, Texas. He was raised and schooled in Beckville and married his love Lacy Elizabeth Fox, on April 5, 2019, they had a daughter Sage and would have celebrated 8 years of marriage in April of 2026. Dillon was born to the marriage of Stormy Dawn Boggess and Keith Franklin Brevard.
Dillon was a Jack-of-all-trades, he loved being a mechanic, fishing, raising chickens, cows, bee keeping, truck driving and raised bucking bulls. His good fortune led to his working as ranch hand and tech person for Dudley Cattle Ranch, which entailed all the things he loved in life and a direct tie to those Lacy loved as well. He is preceded in death by his father, Keith Brevard, father-in-law, Randy Fox, grandparents, Bobby Brevard, Worth and Ola Mae Langford.
Dillon is survived by his loving wife, Lacy Brevard; beloved daughter, Sage Sterling Brevard; mom and step dad, Stormy and Scotty Shelton; mother-in-law, father-in-law, Art and Rachel Dudley; brothers, Bo Brevard and wife Baleigh, Jaxon Shelton and K.J.; brother-in-law, Randy Fox and wife Morgan; sister-in-law Reese Dudley; nieces, and nephews, Charleigh, Kash, Kolt Brevard and Weston Fox; grandparents, Mark and Debbie Ochoa, Mike and Lisa Boggess, Marilyn and Tommy Lacy and Rita Day; uncles and aunts, Kevin Brevard and wife Wendy, Mandy Norman and husband Paul, Marilyn Gentry, Michelle Gentry, Mark Ochoa and wife Cassity, Rick Ochoa and wife Evelyn, Tina Ochoa, Megan Benassi and husband Ryan, Forrest White, Zack Boggess and Marty Boggess; other relatives and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bo Brevard, Jaxson Shelton, Randy Fox, Ty Kirkland, Dawson Doyle, Kyle Manville, Colby Sepulvado, Shawn Scott, Dexter Goodman, Bubba Kiper, Cody Braggs, Ryan Davis, and Cole Davis.
