Sheila LaFaye Brevard, of North Las Vegas, transitioned to heaven on August 30, 2025. She was born in Danielsville, GA to Marion and Reba Wilhite on April 26, 1957. Sheila LaFaye Brevard was preceded in transition by her parents, Marion and Reba Wilhite; sister, Fannie Wilhite; brother, Reginald Cunningham; sister, Patricia Beasley; and brother, Douglas Dean.
Sheila attended and graduated from Madison County High School in Danielsville GA. She later received a BS Degree and graduated cum laude in Computer Technologies from Colorado Technical University.
While in Italy, Sheila met and married the love of her life, Phillip Brevard, Jr., in 1978. From this beautiful union of love a beautiful daughter was born, Joi Joelle Brevard. Sheila was devoted to her husband and daughter. She was the glue that kept the family together, and she always put her family first. She was a warm-hearted person, and her spirit was also defined by how she loved life and always tried to be available to assist others in whatever the circumstance.
When she stepped into a room, the first thing you noticed were those beautiful eyes and that lovely smile of hers. Those whom she befriended found out that she always had something warm to say. Sheila's loving and warm spirit touched those around her. Her faith sustained her, and the Lord was a guiding presence in her life. Although Sheila may not be with us, her beautiful spirit will always be with us. Forever yours my Loving Soulmate.
