Dillon Follet Packer was born on May 24, 1996, in Ogden, Utah, and passed away on February 2, 2026, at his home in Logan, Utah.
He grew up across Cache Valley, where many of his earliest memories were made. During his teenage years, he also lived in Williston, North Dakota, collecting stories and experiences along the way. Though life carried him to different places, home was where his heart was. He loved being around the people he loved most and dreamed of seeing more of the world with them.
Dillon was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Packer, and is survived by his mother, Jode Packer; his sister, Heatherlee Packer; his brother, Kennedy Packer; his daughter, Jocelyn; his niece, Delylah; and his chosen brothers, Chris Burden and Canon South.
Dillon was a vibrant, spontaneous soul, the kind of person who seemed to carry his own light wherever he went. He was fiercely loyal to his family and devoted to those he cared about most. His greatest gift was the way he lifted others, offering encouragement, laughter, and steady positivity to anyone who needed it. He produced positive energy for others as naturally as breathing, and somehow it always came back to him.
He will be remembered not only for his heart, but for the laughter he shared so easily. As a child, his family liked to tell the story of the time his big head got stuck under a bed and the fire department had to help free him, a simple, funny memory that still brings warmth to those who remember it. He also had a playful spirit throughout his life, always bringing strange trinkets to friends and family and bags of candy to the children in his life who loved him.
Dillon loved his family unconditionally. His passing has touched every heart he poured that love into, and the space he leaves behind will be deeply felt. While he will be greatly missed here, there is comfort in knowing he is now peacefully reunited with his dad.
Services will be held at Cache Valley Mortuary on Friday, February 6th at 4:00 p.m., located at 710 West 500 North, Hyde Park, Utah. A celebration of life will be discussed at the time of the viewing.
