Dimitrios N. Moschouris

Dimitrios N. Moschouris, age 92, entered into eternal life on July 7, 2025. "Uncle Jimmy" grew up in Chios, Greece, moved to Brookline in the 1950s, and to Weymouth in the 90s, where he has lived for 30 years. Dimitrios was the owner and operator of Jim's Home Improvement Service. He was a charter member of the Greek Apostolic Church in Brookline and more recently a member of the Greek Evangelical Church in Newton. He was a merchant mariner as a young man and loved the sea. He was a busy father, grandfather and uncle. Upon retirement, he enjoyed cruising the oceans once again, visiting many countries and every continent except Antarctica. "Jimmy" was the beloved husband of the late Georgia (Stavrou). Devoted father of Jeine Kamberidis, and friend and father-in-law to the late Teddy. Loving Papou of Kosta, his wife Anastashia, and their daughter Helen; Dimitri and his wife Alexandria, and their son, Teddy. Predeceased by his siblings George, Kyriaki and Vasilios. Beloved brother-in-law of Maria Moschouris and her sons Nicholas and Michael. Fun-loving uncle to many nieces and nephews who have experienced jovial jaunts to various ice cream parlors, diners, and restaurants. Dimitrios shared his faith in Jesus Christ with everyone he met.
Visiting hours at the Greek Evangelical Church of Boston, 1115 Centre St., Newton on Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 am. Funeral service at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. If desired, donations may be made in his memory to the Greek Evangelical Church, 1115 Centre Street, Newton Centre, MA 02459.
