Dimple Jo Thomas, 92, of Searcy, Ark., passed away on Jan. 14, 2026, at her home. Dimple was born on Nov. 1, 1934, in Wills Point, Texas, to Josephine and Clint Mott.
She grew up alongside her brother, Preston "Buzz" Mott. She was married to her beloved husband, Dee Windle Thomas, for 62 years. Together, they built a life centered on family, hard work and faith. Dimple was a devoted mother to her children, Mike Thomas, Chrystal Rayburn and Candy Clevenger. She worked as a beautician, later owned the Blue Devil restaurant in Kensett and spent her later years caring for others through home health work. She was a faithful member of West Race Baptist Church. Dimple was known for her warm hospitality and gift of gab and made sure that no one ever left her home hungry. She will be remembered as funny, outgoing, sassy and deeply loving. She enjoyed shopping, going to the beauty shop, traveling and antiquing.
She is survived by her daughter, Chrystal Rayburn; grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Thomas, Elizabeth Evans, Jesse Rayburn, John Rayburn, Bailey Thompson and Casey Smith; and great-grandchildren, Jobe, Austin, Tanner, and Hannah Thomas, CJ Evans, Shelby Rayburn, Dixie Kelley, Dawson and Madelyn Thompson and Willow and Emery Smith. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Mott, who shared a close friendship with her for many years, along with many other friends and family members who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Windle Thomas; her children, Mike Thomas and Candy Clevenger; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Rayburn and Maddison Clevenger.
We find peace in knowing she is finally reunited with her husband, children and grandchildren who went before her. She carried their memory in her heart for many years, and now she has been reunited. Arrangements entrusted with Powell Funeral Home in Searcy, Ark.

I knew Dimple back in the 70´s and 80´s when she owned the Blue Devil Drive In in Kensett. She was so friendly and outgoing with the teens and everyone she dealt with. I hang out and visited with her and my friends. I never forgot her over the years. I loved her and I know she´ll be missed by everyone who knew her. God bless her family!
