Dionel Joseph Archibeque, 62, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, with his family by his side. He was a loving son, father, brother, nephew, and cousin whose kindness and devotion touched the lives of many.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joe Archibeque. He is survived by his mother, Florence; his children, Santino and Andrea; his beloved grandchild, Santino Jr.; his brother, Steven; and his cousin, Louis Garcia, who was like a brother to him. Joseph loved his children tremendously and held a special place in his heart for his grandson, Santino Jr., who was his pride and joy.
A proud graduate of Cibola High School, Joseph was a talented athlete who played baseball for the Cougars. He carried his love for the game and team spirit with him throughout his life.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Catholic Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow the Mass at Sandia Memorial Gardens.
Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, dedication, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
