Remembering Disha
Disha Carolyn Debra Allen was born April 28, 1996 in Baytown, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and confirmed at Washington Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Earl Alexander, Sr. She continued her worship experience under the pastoral guidance of the current pastor, Rev. CA Burns.
Disha resided in Humble, Texas and attended Kingwood Park High School. During her time at Kingwood Park, not only did she work toward completing her general courses, but she also completed 1500 hours of additional course work. As a result of these additional hours, she matriculated in 2014 with not only her high school diploma, but also her license in cosmetology. Disha was a faithful and long-time employee of Gardaworld Security where she was admired by her fellow co-workers.
First and foremost, Disha was a dedicated mother. She treasured her daughter, Kennedy, and embraced every moment with her. Disha, who was very outgoing, yet reserved, had many hobbies. Some of her hobbies were, but not limited to, traveling, hair and make-up, attending music concerts, hosting seafood boils and cooking her family's favorite dish; macaroni and cheese. In her free time, she would enjoy a good workout with her mom. Although she enjoyed all of these things, she was most passionate about taking care of her daughter, who was her pride and joy.
Overall, Disha was a quiet and peaceful person who liked making friends and having a good time. She was loved by all.
On December 12, 2021, Disha entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents (Annie and Gaston Stewart Katherine Allen and Freddie Castle), and her grandparents (Debra Allen, Stephen Allen and Albert Goudeau)
Left to honor her life and cherish her memory are her daughter, Kennedy LeAnna Gilbert; parents, LeAnna Goudeau and Craig Allen; grandparents, Carolyn Phillip and Moses Phillip; special Papa, Charles (Boonie) Johnson; siblings, Desvon Allen, Caitlynn Baker, Alexis Allen, Dominique Stewart, Cody Allen, Brooklynn Allen, Craig Allen Jr., Shanequia Siler (Donivan), Lyndon Allen and Darious Williams; aunts, Annie Goudeau, Ashley Goudeau-Felder (Ricky), Toni Allen (Novels), Katherine Allen, Stephanie Allen-Gobert (Kevin); uncle, Adrian Walker, and a host of other family members and friends.
