Dixie Dean Obituary
Dixie Lee Dean, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born July 13, 1944, in Zanesville to the late Meade and Ruth Leasure Ginter. She was a 1962 graduate of Zanesville High School. She worked at Essex Wire, Quality Imports and was also a seamstress. Dixie enjoyed sewing and raising her granddaughter. She also volunteered her time as a 4-H advisor and teaching horse riding.
Surviving is her son Dusty Dean and granddaughter Kaitlyne Dean; and her best friend Jeanie Quinn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Danny Dean and her daughter Brenda Gaines.
Private family services will be held at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
