Dixie McClanahan Obituary
Dixie is survived by her son, William David McClanahan (Sarah), of Yorktown; daughters, Patricia Ann McClanahan Lazarus, and Holly Renee McClanahan Langston, both of Newport News; and eight grandchildren, Zachary Langston, Mya Langston, Conner Lazarus, Mason McClanahan, Zoey McClanahan, Ania Shope, Mason Shope, and Destiny Wall. Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Redmond Johnson & Florence Henrietta Harrison; and her sister, Estelle Johnson Standbridge.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Cobham Park Baptist Church Cemetery in Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dixie's memory to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at welchfuneralhomeva.com.
