Dixie Lee Nobles McKee, 83, of Whiteville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 17, 2025, while in Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Dixie was born on September 22, 1942, daughter of the late William Walter Nobles and Gladys Jane Bullard Nobles. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deneen McKee Godfrey; siblings, Brenda Nobles Nealey, Keith Nobles, Butch Nobles, Patricia Cartrette, and Jerry Nobles.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor John McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday.
Dixie attended the Chadbourn Church of God of Prophecy.
Dixie leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Terri Ann Clark (Mike) of Clarkton; son, Keith McKee and wife, Lisa, of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Ashley Nye, Johlynn Carrano (Paul), MJ Gore, Brandon McKee (Caroline), Jennifer Abbott (Justin), Logan McKee (Kourtney); great-grandchildren, Autumn Nye, Lyla Nye, Kristian Nye, Billy McKee, Hadley McKee, Dawson McKee, and Mallory McKee; special cousin, Linda.
