Dixie Lynn Snead Born June 29, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to Mary Lou and Charles Wendell Worthington.Died January 8, 2026, in Decatur, Texas.
Married to Winston Scott Snead on August 30, 1980, on the Colorado River near Bend, Texas. Blessed with two wonderful daughters, Macy and Carly.Lynn, Scott and their family were blessed beyond measure by God with many years of love and laughter.Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She is survived by her loving husband Scott and their daughter, Carly Snead, first-born daughter Macy Lambert and her husband Gary, and grandchildren Lillian and Brodie; her brothers Donny Worthington and wife Peggy, and Michael Worthington and wife Karem Rodriguez; nephews and nieces David, John, Mary, Brittany, Blake, Karen, Alejandra, Diego and Jorge and their spouses, and many more grand nieces and nephews. Lynn is also survived by friends so special to her heart that they are family.
Public Visitation will be at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur, Texas, on Saturday, January 10th, from 4:00-6:00 pm.Private burial will be at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, Texas.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:Cook’s Children’s Health Foundation 801 7th Avenue Fort Worth, Texas 76104
