Michael Dell Cooper, 69, passed peacefully from this earth on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur, Texas.
Michael was born on May 1, 1956, in Waco, Texas, to Billy and Alice Cooper. On August 29, he married the love of his life, Cindy Seebeck, in Arlington, Texas, and together they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and family. Michael spent most of his career as an IT technician before later joining the family business at Buyers Barricades.
He was a hardworking, dependable man who took pride in providing for those he loved. He also served as a dedicated Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America, mentoring young people with patience, wisdom, and integrity.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and selfless devotion to family and friends that will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
