Dixie Van Meter Obituary
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael VanMeter; her father, Raymond William Lynn; and her mother, Bonnie Marie Lynn.
She is survived by her loving children: daughter Cynthia Joy Willard and husband Rusty of Ponder, TX; son Jefferey Daniel Williams and wife Lori; and daughter Melanie Jeau Tanner and husband John of Mustang, OK. She also leaves behind her brother, Daniel Christian Lynn and wife Lisa of Fort Cobb, OK.
Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Anesa (Tyler) Raymond, Ashlee (Ryan), Zak (Tyler), Hunter (Mattie), Gabriel (Callie), Seth (Kierra), Reed, and Ty; as well as her great-grandchildren: Kevin, Tyner, Braxton, and Baby Lu.
A service to celebrate Dixie's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main St., Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home.
