Dollie Brogden Obituary
Dollie was preceded in death by her parents; Homer A. Mitchell and Lessie Mitchell, husband, Morris E. Brogden and son, Dennis E. Brogden.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Kim Brogden, great-granddaughter, Emily Perkinson and several nieces & nephews.
Dollie graduated from Youngsville High School and immediately began her lifelong career with the Department of Health & Human Services, Murdoch Developmental Center and later retired from John Umstead Hospital where she worked as a Healthcare Technician.
Dollie was a woman of strong faith and a Christian. She loved baking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She will sincerely be remembered for her kindness, strength, compassion, and loving spirit.
In honor of Dollie's life a graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
