Peter James Gaeta Jr.

Peter James Gaeta, Jr., 73 years old, of Youngsville NC passed away on September 1, 2025. Peter was born on October 29, 1951, to the late Peter and Ruby Masucci Gaeta.

Pete was a wonderful, honorable man! He loved God with all his heart, loved and cherished his family, excelled in his ability to build with his hands, and enjoyed fishing his whole life. Pete was a friend to all he met, always laughing and joking, along with sharing Christ. He fought hard to stay with us through his health battles but is now at rest in the presence of Jesus and loved ones who have gone before. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. He will truly be missed.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Peter, Sr. and Ruby Gaeta, his brother Mark, and his sister Sandy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Cherri Lee Gaeta; his sons, Peter James Gaeta, III and Abram Paul Gaeta and his wife Jennifer; his daughters, Cherish Walliser and her husband David, Tamara Cannon and her husband Stephen, and Emily Rose Gaeta; his grandchildren, Jack Walliser, Hudson Walliser, Elise Walliser, Isaac Cannon and Sam Cannon and his brothers, Bob Gaeta and his wife Linda and Glenn Gaeta.

The family is having a small gathering of family and friends to honor and celebrate his life on September 16, 2025, in Wake Forest, NC.
