May "Dolly" A. Goyette, 96, of Marinette passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 23, 1929, to the late Adolph and Annabelle (Struhadlo) Bandur in Berwyn, IL. She graduated high school and went on to attend Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. On November 17, 1951, Dolly married Jerome Goyette in Berwyn, IL; he preceded her in death on February 4, 2001. She enjoyed golfing and her passion was music, she played the piano for the church, Solo & Ensemble, Theater on the Bay, and many other events. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and former member of Little River Country Club. Dolly was a supportive wife and mother. She enjoyed having the basketball teams over for meals and helping in other ways.
Dolly is survived by her son, Jim Goyette of Ripon; daughters, Nancy (Joseph) Pichette and Mary Goyette both of Marinette; grandchildren: Kate (Andrew Sauter) Goyette, Ricky Goyette and Jacob Pichette; and great granddaughter, Mira Sauter. In addition to her parents and husband, Jerome, she was preceded in death by daughter in law, Linda Holloway; and brothers, Claude and Al Bandur.
Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Thursday, September 4th from 9:30am-11am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am with Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
