GOYETTE, SANDRA K., 62, died on October 7, 2025, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Sandy was born on October 26, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, the youngest of the five children of the late George and Edna Padot. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Padot, and her brothers, George Padot II, Michael and David Padot.
She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 43 years, David M. Goyette, and their cherished children, son Nicholas Goyette and daughter Callie Goyette.
Sandy was known for her independent spirit and great inner strength. She was a wonderful wife and mother, with a deep appreciation for her family and friends. She created a warm and loving home in every location that the course of life and business took the family. She especially enjoyed Christmas time and the holiday season. Among her many virtues and fine qualities, Sandy was fun-loving, hard- working, and fiercely loyal to those she cared for and to all those she embraced in her life.
The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all the doctors and nurses across the country that cared for Sandy, including the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Froedtert Medical Center Milwaukee, Duke University Hospital, University of Tennessee Medical Center, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 201 Black Ridge Road, Seymour TN on a date and time to be announced.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in Sandy's honor to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
