Nashville Cremation Center - NashvilleAge, 68, passed away on October 5, 2025.
Linda was born December 26,1956 in Nashville, TN. The Foster children grew up on Old Hickory Blvd in Bellevue and lived next to I40 as it was being constructed…exploring the area’s woods and family homestead with cousins and friends.
Linda enjoyed traveling the country and was well known for her delicious cookies.
She worked many years, as a medical courier in the Mid State area retiring after 45 years. After retiring she and her sister Carolyn Foster built their dream home on Tims Ford lake.
Linda passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by members of her loving family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Melita Foster, and granddaughters, Hailey and Kylie Hines, sisters, Carolyn Foster, and Shirley (Larry) Woodard, brother Steve (Becky) Foster, Sister-in-law Linda Foster and Step-Father Allen Deal. She is preceded in death by parents Bobby Gene Foster and Alice Pickney, son, Nick Hines and her brother Bill Foster.
Linda was a shining light to all who had the privilege of knowing her and her passing leaves a deep void.
Please remember her as she lived - happy, positive, and sassy.
