Dolly Long

Dolly Ann Long, 76, of Westminster, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her residence. Born October 12, 1948 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn Thomas Brewer and Guy L. Brewer, Sr. She was the beloved wife of Norman Lee Long, Jr. She was employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Alba. Dolly was a former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and was a caretaker. Besides her husband, she is survived by son Norman L. Long III and wife Tina Nusbaum of Spring Grove, PA and Christopher S. Long and wife Lisa of Littlestown, PA; siblings Guy L. Brewer, Jr. (Doris), Donna Rickell Green, Earle Brewer, Marvin Brewer (Linda), Dean Brewer (Roxanne), Eugene Brewer (Renee). Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Kenneth Brewer, Richard Brewer, Mark Brewer, Millie Brewer and Ronald Brewer, sisters-in-law Ann Brewer, Sharon Brewer and Lynette Brewer. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
