Dolores June Dee (Bonner) was born in Denver, Colorado on June 17th, 1933, to Vance Bonner and Martha Heggemeyer- the second of 3 children. Dolores moved to the Portland area. Dolores never graduated high school, but you would never know it as she had common sense and was book smart. She married Donald C. Dee Sr. in 1955 in New Mexico having 2 children. Holding several jobs but loved her time Consolidated Freightways where she was a data entry operator. She soon became a union shop stewart where she blossomed. Standing up for people's rights was Dolores' mission. She went to several Union Labor Negotiations where she was the only woman, I remember her telling me they would kick her under the table.

Dolores enjoyed gardening, learning and teaching/sharing information on investing. Dolores kept to herself a lot but loved people and people watching and chatting with people. Always willing to help someone in need family, friends, or strangers. Helping both near and far.

She will be remembered for truthfulness, thoughtfulness, wisdom and generosity to all.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survived by her 2 children, 3 grandkids and 9 great grandkids.
