Dolores Ann Demmons

Dolores A. Demmons (Costello), age 93, a longtime resident of Pepperell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert R. Demmons with whom she enjoyed 70 years of marriage.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 13, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Katheryn (Sparks) Costello.
Dolores was a former employee of New England Business Service (NEBS) for more than 25 years before retiring. She was an active member of the Pepperell Senior Center where she enjoyed socializing with friends, daily lunch and events, especially dancing. Dolores enjoyed weekly gatherings with her family at their home in Pepperell.
Dolores is survived by her daughters, Sharon A. Hardy and her husband Richard of Tyngsboro, and Tracey L. Delgreco and her husband Gary of Pepperell, her son Gary M. Demmons and his wife Rebecca of New Ipswich, NH. She treasured her family, especially loved being a Grandmother and Great Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and her sister Kathleen.
Dolores was also the mother of the late Robert and Tammy Demmons, and sister to her late siblings, Beverly, Raymond and Janet.
