Dolores A. Geiselhart

Dolores Ann Geiselhart (Nee Carman), 90, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at Naples Community Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1934, in Ellenville, New York, the daughter of the late Henry Irving Carman and Lorena Carman (Nee Funk).
Dolores was predeceased by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Carman.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Thomas C. Geiselhart, also of Naples, FL; her two sons, Thomas (Brita) Geiselhart of Naples, FL, and Michael (Donna) Geiselhart of St. Louis, MO; four grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Andrew, and Daniel; and eight beloved great-grandchildren.
Dolores graduated from Ellenville High School in 1951 and attended Vassar Hospital School of Nursing. She and her family lived in Cairo, NY, for 59 years before moving permanently to Naples, FL, in 2015. Throughout her career, Dolores worked at Walkers Western Auto and later at Norstar Bank (now Bank of America) for 14 years.
She was deeply involved in her community during her early years, actively participating in the local Cub Scouts and American Red Cross chapters. Dolores was a longstanding member of Sacred Heart Church in Cairo, NY, and St. Leo's Parish in Bonita Springs, FL.
A lover of music and outdoor activities, Dolores enjoyed playing the piano and golfing in her free time.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Dolores' legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Public viewing/services for Dolores will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. Calling hours will be held at Richard's Funeral Home of Cairo, NY, with Funeral Services located at Sacred Heart Church in Cairo, NY. Interment will follow at Round Top Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Avow/Hospice of Naples.
