Thomas C. Geiselhart, 90, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at home in
Naples, FL. He was born on December 28, 1934, in Ellenville, New York, to the late
George W. Geiselhart and Gwendolyn Geiselhart.
Tom was a proud U.S. Army veteran and dedicated over 50 years of his life to his
profession as an Insurance Agent in Cairo, NY. He was well respected in his field,
building strong relationships with his clients and colleagues throughout his career.
Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores A. Geiselhart (nee Carman),
and together they shared over 70 years of marriage, raising a family and creating a
legacy of love, faith, and service. He is survived by their two sons, Thomas (Brita)
Geiselhart of Naples, FL, and Michael (Donna) Geiselhart of St. Louis, MO; four
grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Andrew, and Daniel; as well as eight cherished great-
grandchildren.
Tom, like his late wife, was deeply involved in his community and found joy in
spending time with family and friends. He had a quiet strength, offering support,
wisdom, and kindness to those who knew him.
Tom was very active in early years managing/bringing Little League baseball to Cairo in
1966 and later managing the Cairo Babe Ruth baseball team for 6 years. He was a
member of Hudson Valley Umpires Association for many years and parishioner of both
Sacred Heart church in Cairo, NY and St. Leo's church in Bonita Springs, FL.
His hobbies included baseball, golf and playing pinochle. He was a member of
Schmollinger's golf club in Freehold and later San Carlos golf club in FL.
He served several terms on the Board of Directors for both his condo association and golf club.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday April 10 from 4-7 pm at the Richards Funeral Home, 29 Bross Street, Cairo.
A celebration of life for both Tom and Dolores will take place on Friday April 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 35 Church St. Cairo, with interment to follow at Round Top Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Avow/Hospice of Naples.
Thomas' memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all
who loved him. He is now reunited with his lifelong partner and love, Dolores, and
together they will continue to be remembered with great love and gratitude by their
family and friends.

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. & Mrs. G's passing. I know they were such a big influence in Gary's life growing up of which he is so grateful for. Mr. G probably never knew this, but he was influential in starting me on my journey into the healing arts. You never know how much of a difference you can make in someone's life, but they did make a difference in ours. All our love....Gary and Tina Graham

It is with so many good memories of both Tom and Dolores that have been rekindled.... from Oak Hill Baseball team as their bat boy, to his coaching kids in Cairo little league to once delivering the Knickerbocker News Paper to the family.... Hearing of Tom's passing is a reminder of how nice folks in Cairo were... to both Michael and to Tom I send heartfelt condolences.... may your dad rest in peace.

Remembering Uncle Tom is like looking back on some of my fondest childhood memories of family visits filled with laughter. His incredible sense of humor guaranteed a fun time when we all got together. Going to golf tournaments with Uncle Tom, Aunt Dort & my father was memorable. They are all at peace with God & together once again. I miss & love all of you!
