Dolores Rose Kupczyk

Dolores Kupczyk (nee Snopek)
was born on March 8, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Rose (nee Michalak) and Sigmund Snopek Sr. On Octobe 5th 2024, Dolores peacefully passed away to join those who have proceeded her.
Loving mother of Jacquelyn (James) Ignatowski and Jeffrey (Barbara) Pawluczek: grandchildren Jeffrey (Kate)Ignatowski, Julie (David) Mullen, Andrew (Angela) Pawluczek, Joseph Pawluczek; and great-grandchildren:Isabelle, Owen and Alex Ignatowski; Madelyn, Piper, Kinsley and Lyla Mullen; Perri, Arlo and Rylin Pawluczek. Dear sister of Marilyn Nawrocki, Roselyn Neuendorf, the late Sigmund Snopek Jr and the late Eugene Snopek. Also survived by a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special Al-Anon friends.
Dolores lived her entire life in the Milwaukee area. At 97 years of age, she experienced life to the fullest. She was born on the brink of The Depression, quit high school at the start of WWll and returned to school later to earn her high school diploma. After WWil, marriage and raising a family became her focus. Dolores returned to the workforce when it was more popular for mothers to remain at home. As a self-motivated person with a fierce family-instilled work ethic, Dolores continually improved her work knowledge until she held the title of Payroll Clerk (Shorewood School System) and finally Administrative Accounting Assistant (Grede Foundry). Dolores used her life-long work skills as an active member in the national non-profit, Al-Anon. She joined Al-Anon in 1962 and served in many leadership positions through the years.
Dolores has been a loving force in our lives for over 97 years. We will miss her dearly. From family gatherings to life milestone moments like graduations and wedding to trips overseas and up north, we have many memories to fill our hearts with joy.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, from11:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at ST. ALPHONSUS PARISH 6060 W Loomis Rd. Greendale, WI.
