Dolores Boudreaux Lafleur

Dolores "Dee" Lafleur, 92, was born and raised in Lewisburg, La. After her marriage to the late Charles Lafleur, Sr. she moved to Metairie, La. There she raised her family of five children.

She passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Heritage Manor in Mandeville spending her previous years at Tranquil Living in Marrero.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Lafleur, Phyllis Legendre (Tim), Cherie Lafleur Young (Jason Mayer) Charlene Winston (Doug) and one son, Charles Lafleur, Jr. (Jennifer), 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Lafleur Sr., her parents Sidney and Katherine (Gay) Boudreaux, sister Loretta Domingue and brother Geoffrey Boudreaux.

Dolores was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was always kind and always giving. After raising her children she worked at Airline Park Elementary and Rudolph Matas Elementary until she retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board. She was a parishioner of St Mary Magdalen Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Service on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA. 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a catholic Mass at 12:00 PM. Interment will be immediately thereafter.
