Dolores M. Lambertson

Marbletown - Dolores M. Lambertson, 94, of Marcott Road in Marbletown, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May 30, 2025.
Born December 7, 1930, in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late John S. Drosdowich Sr. and Anna Estvanik Drosdowich. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - a constant source of love and kindness to her extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
She treasured every moment with her seven beloved children, whom she lovingly called her "Seven Jewels." A self-proclaimed "Mountain Roadrunner," she loved traveling and exploring new places, and embraced every new adventure with enthusiasm. A true trendsetter and fashionista, Dolores had an eye for style and a flair all her own. She also found joy in painting, writing, and reading. Her extended family was always close and dear to her. She touched many lives by always opening her home to all. Dolores's Catholic faith was at the heart of who she was. She offered a sign of the cross to everyone she met as a quiet blessing and gesture of love.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Gene Muscari (1971); her husband and the love of her life, William F. Lambertson Jr. (1989); her grandson, Billy Moylan Jr. (2024); her brothers John Drosdowich, George Drosdowich, Robert Drosdowich, Richard Drosdowich; and her sister, Stephanie Temple.
Now, she is joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband and rejoicing with the family who went before her.
Surviving are her children: Diane Moylan of Rosendale, Doreen Knowles (the late Tom) of Rosendale, Dolores Allen (Larry) of Marbletown, Donna Burger (Dave Wingfield) of Gardiner, Gene Muscari (Laurie) of Tillson, William Lambertson (Renee) of High Falls, Ronald Lambertson (Tammi Richard) of Wawarsing, and Trudy LaComb (Bill) of Kingston; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved aunt, Lillyann Bucci of Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday June 3, 2025 from 4PM to 7PM at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11AM Wednesday June 4, 2025 at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston, 242 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401. Rev. Kevin Malick will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores's name are appreciated to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation (www.hvhospice.org), in gratitude for the compassionate and supportive care they provided.
