Dolores Maria "Dee" Nardi, age 89, of Berlin, formerly of Cudahy, died peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Patriot Place in Berlin.
She was born November 16, 1935, in Jarales, New Mexico, the daughter of Antonio and Crucita Montono Torrez. On June 15, 1973, she was united in marriage to Robert Nardi in Waukegan, IL.
Dee raised her family in Cudahy and worked for Master Set in St. Francis. She loved to spend time with her grandkids, great-grandkids, watch birds, color and collect photographs. Her favorite TV shows were Law & Order and Golden Girls.
She is survived by her two sons, Jess Boll and Anthony Boll; one daughter, Sandra (Abdelmajid) Jaaffar; four grandchildren, Jeremy Jaaffar, Bobbi (Max) Miller, Jesse Boll and Jami Boll; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol (Raymond) Chavez and Lucy (Salvador) Carrasco; and several nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, Juan Torrez; and sister, Mary Padilla.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Monsignor James L. Gunn officiating. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
