Dolores M. Solinski

1938 - 2024

Dolores M. Solinski, 86, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Solinski born Jan. 8, 1938, in Everson to the late John and Mary Milanowski Borek. Dolores was a graduate of Scottdale High School, class of 1955. She was a faithful member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, St. Pius Christian Mothers, and the church funeral choir. Dolores worked at Connellsville Sportswear as a seamstress. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Dolores is survived by her loving family, her husband of 61 years, Steve J. Solinski; her daughters, Sharon A. Tubbs (Francis), and Barbara Jean Brady (Matthew); her grandchildren, Ryan Sean Tubbs (Maggie), and Tyler Jacob Tubbs (Tristen); and by her great-grandchildren, Maddox, Savannah, Kennedy, and Parker Tubbs. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her infant twin grandsons, John and Steve Tubbs; and by her brothers, Stanley F. Borek and Thomas M. Borek Sr. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME INC., Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by her Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.
