Dolores Terry

Dolores Ann Solitaire Terry, 74, of Ventura, CA, passed away on May 15, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1948 in Oxnard, CA, to the late James and Elzada Solitaire. Dolores worked as a school bus driver in the 70s and 80s and was a devoted housewife to the Late Zollie Terry and loving mother. She enjoyed playing cards (Poker & Spades), watching criminal investigation TV, Listening to classic R&B, going to Jazz clubs but mostly spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking them delicious meals. Survivors include her daughters Kea and Monica, son Zolly II, grandchildren Charlise, Tyris, Zolly III, Ambar, Veronica, Vanessa, Ashlyn, Jordan, Great-grandchildren Emonie, Brhiana, Nehemiah, Josiah, Zolly IV and Emry and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her ability to bring laughter and fun was her greatest gift. A viewing will be held on May 26 at Angeleno Valley Mortuary in North Hollywood at 10 am. A celebration of life/ repass will be held at Arroyo Verde Park on June 3 in Ventura from 11 am - 4 pm.
