Dolores Marie Valek

Dolores Dee Valek (ne Baudino) entered eternal life on February 22nd, 2025 a 8:05 AM.
Dolores was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 11, 1936, to the late Anthony and Helen Baudino, Sr. (ne Andros.)
She was a 1954 graduate of Joliet Township High School. She was employed at the US Atomic Energy Commission, Lemont, IL and later Secretary to the Building Commissioner of Broadview, IL.
In 1959, she married Anthony Tony Valek and moved to Broadview, Illinois util 1989, when they retired to Naples, Florida. She was very active in volunteering her services to many organizations and charities wherever needed in Broadview, especially the American Red Cross Blood Program.
She loved golfing, bowling, and gardening. She finally got her Hole-In-One when she was a member of Lakewood Country Club, Naples, Florida.
Dolores was a member of St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Naples, Florida, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 135, Naples, Florida.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Anthony Tony Valek of 65 years, brother Donald R. (Judy) Baudino of Wilmington, Illinois, niece Ann (Michael) Olszta of Minooka, Illinois, nephew Nicholas Baudino of Willmington, Illinois, great nephews Anthony and Alexander Baudino of Diamond, Illinois, and Nicholas and Lucas Olszta of Minooka, Illinois, numerous cousins, many friends in Florida and Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Helen (ne Andros) Baudino, Sr. and brother Anthony Baudino, Jr.
